This listing is for a SOUTH PARK brand number LFS46 folding step.
The construction is of chrome plated with a stainless steel tensioning spring that holds it in open or folded up position.
These are manufactured and sold for fire truck use but have other applications where a heavy-duty step is required.
This was never mounted or used.
